GRS Recovery operates a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking. We are fully committed to acting ethically, with integrity and transparency in all business dealings, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking do not occur within our organisation or through those we work with.

Recruitment and Employment Policy: Ensuring all employees have the legal right to work in the UK and are paid at or above the National Minimum Wage.
-
Supplier Standards: Requiring suppliers and subcontractors to operate in accordance with ethical principles and applicable laws.
These policies are communicated to all employees and form part of our company handbook and compliance framework.
3. Due Diligence Processes
To identify and prevent risks of modern slavery, GRS Recovery undertakes the following due diligence steps:
-
Conducting right-to-work checks for all employees and agency staff.
-
Requiring suppliers and contractors to confirm compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
-
Ensuring all employment contracts are voluntary and transparent.
-
Monitoring and reviewing supplier performance where applicable.
-
Providing training to relevant staff on identifying and responding to potential risks.
4. Risk Assessment and Management
We have reviewed our operations and supply chain and consider the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our own business to be low, as we operate within the UK under regulated employment standards.
However, we recognise potential risks may arise in relation to:
-
Subcontracted services or third-party labour providers.
-
The sourcing of vehicle parts, uniforms, or equipment from global supply chains.
To manage these risks, we:
-
Conduct periodic checks and supplier audits where appropriate.
-
Require supplier declarations confirming compliance.
-
Maintain open communication channels for reporting concerns.
-
Review supplier relationships to ensure continued ethical alignment.
5. Effectiveness and Performance Review
GRS Recovery measures the effectiveness of its anti-slavery efforts through:
-
Ongoing review of supplier contracts and compliance documents.
-
Annual audits of employment and payroll records.
-
Monitoring training completion rates for staff awareness.
-
Regular policy reviews by the Managing Director.
We are satisfied that no instances of modern slavery or human trafficking have been identified within our business or supply chain to date. Nonetheless, we continue to review and strengthen our controls to ensure continued compliance and vigilance.
6. Training and Awareness
Training on modern slavery, human trafficking, and ethical supply chain management is available to all employees and mandatory for those involved in procurement, recruitment, and supplier management. Staff are encouraged to remain alert to potential risks and report any concerns immediately.
